What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Sharkey’s was voted the #1 Kids Salon by Nickelodeon Magazine 6 Years in a Row. We have fun car chairs, Xbox stations and a Glamour Lounge. We also do Glamour Birthday Parties. Our salons are bright and colorful with lots to see and do. We have a lego table and chalk wall too! Come have fun!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Sharkey’s represents a fun, safe place for kids and families to come where they get more than just a haircut they get a fun experience. We hope to be an important part of the community.
What do you love most about your job?
It’s all about the kids! We love seeing their faces light up when they see the Fire Truck chair or when they see we have the latest Xbox game. The older girls love our Glamour Lounge!
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
A young girl came in recently and had her hair and nails done in our Glamour Lounge. When she was done she told our stylist that this place was the greatest thing we could have done for kids.
