If there's anything closer to owner Jose "Kishimoto" Arteche's heart than an expertly coiled sushi roll, it's a happy guest. And fortunately for him, the two aren't mutually exclusive. With more than 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Arteche and his culinary family at Shogun scour the area for the freshest ingredients they can find, folding their yield into an extensive lineup of sushi and sashimi specialties. But artfully prepared rolls aren't their only speciality—they also whip up Japanese curry, hibachi style grilled meals, traditional Asian noodle dishes, and a filet mignon so tender that, in their own words, "it melts in the mouth."
