Gorge on classic comfort fare while watching men play sports on a television with today's Groupon. For $10, you'll get $20 worth of grub and nonalcoholic guzzle at Skinner's Pub and Eatery, a neighborhood eatery specializing in bar bites and beverages.
Within its modest exterior lies an expansive menu of recognizable eats. Try the boneless chicken wings ($5.75), served with a trifecta of dipping sauces (BBQ, honey mustard, or ranch), or the mini tacos partnered with salsa and sour cream ($5.25). For dinner, you'll find plenty of salads, burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches. Vegetarians can opt for the veggie sandwich, a fresh stack of tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, and onions piled between American and Swiss cheeses and your choice of bread ($4.50).
On chilly Saturday mornings after a late night, getting dressed up to peruse a menu of foreign flavors never sounds appealing. Here, you can nosh on nostalgic nibbles, such as the meat-heavy factory-special pizza (from $11.25). Picky eaters will delight in Skinner's build-your-own option for pizza. Catch the game on one of the many TVs, or feast on the buzz-worthy nachos. Skinner's opens at 10 a.m. Sunday through Tuesday and 9 a.m. the rest of the week, and it stays open until 1 a.m.
