    During discovery flights, experienced pilots instruct students on the basics of navigation, plane controls, and radio procedures during 30 minutes of ground school and briefings before and after 45-minute flights. Those who wish to share the experience with a friend can choose the second option and combine their flight lessons. Then, one student flies to Greenwood Lake Airport in New York while the other takes photographs of the scenic landscapes below, and they switch seats on the return trip.

Remodeled into a pilot's lounge and rental hall, the converted aircraft now offers views of aspiring pilots as they sharpen their skills under the capable guidance of Sky Training LLC's FAA–certified instructors.
