About Skydive Toledo
Divers' clothing flaps in the wind as they soar toward a patchwork of meadows, with forests spreading out in all directions and mountains looming on the horizon. Divers can look out over seven volcanoes including looking directly into the crater of Mt. St. Helens, the famous volcano of 1980. Mt. Rainier and Mt. Adams are also in view. But before these jumps, Skydive! Toledo's instructors impart the necessary safety measures, touching on how to land, and how to use a guidebook to ask birds for directions. After briefing visitors on the basics, expert jumpers help them learn the physics of flight firsthand as they plummet towards Earth at up to 120 miles per hour.
Skydive Toledo also offers novice jumpers the necessary instruction to achieve their skydiving license through the AFF program. This seven-jump instructional program will have you freefalling on your own on your first jump.
