For $15, today's side deal gets you and a hot date (or cool acquaintance) admission to the Smithsonian Craft Show. This deal is good for admission to any one day at the show from Thursday, April 22, to Sunday, April 25. All craftin' and showin' and Smithsonian' takes place in the National Building Museum off the Judiciary Square Red Line stop. The show is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. This deal is not valid for the Wednesday pre-show.

Aside from oodles of adroit basketry, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, and furniture, there's a full schedule complete with jazz concerts, craftwork demonstrations by some of the show's 120+ master artisans, and a variety of lectures on the history of and importance of craft.
