Open 24 hours a day and seven days a week, Spa World’s 50,000-square-foot modernized jimjilbang—a traditional Korean bathhouse—whisks guests of all ages into a state of relaxation. A general-admission pass unlocks 24 consecutive hours of access to the spa’s bade pool, seven poultice rooms, sauna, and fitness center. Guests unwind in the bade pool’s nine water-blasting massage stations, including a jugular-relaxing neck shower and a bench jet that sprays high-pressure water onto feet, calves, waists, and sides to increase blood-circulation and wear away embarrassing sock tan lines (nudity is required to keep the pool free of clothing-based contaminants). Patrons set foot onto temperature-controlled floors made of yellow onyx stone to detoxify inside the artfully designed and decorated poultice rooms, which are built out of rare substances ranging from Korean red clay to salt rocks imported from the Himalayas. During the package’s reflexology foot massage, a masseuse or narwhal with a dulled horn carefully stimulates predefined plantar pressure points to alleviate discomfort throughout the body.
Within Spa World’s private men’s and women’s resting rooms and children’s play room, parents can catch up on sleep as youngsters run through dressed rehearsals of Macbeth. Though not included with today’s Groupon, guests may visit the restaurant and juice bar for authentic Asian cuisine, such as chicken teriyaki and korean bibimbop, and refreshing fruity smoothies.
Though Spa World features discounted admission for seniors (65+) and children (1–12), this Groupon still offers the best deal available.
Our customers loved this deal last year, earning Spa World a spot on Groupon’s Best of 2011 list.
