Carbo-loading isn’t just for marathon runners and witch's captives, it’s for hungry folk as well. For $10, today's deal gets you $20 worth of all-you-can-eat pasta, drinks, and casual Italian fare at Spaghetti Works in Old Market. This Groupon is also good for its locations in Ralston, Lincoln, and Des Moines.
A trip to the salad bar is included with most meals on the menu, or it can be added on for $1.99, but you’ll really want to save some prime stomach real estate for the all-you-can-eat pasta. To order, you’ll pick one of five pastas (spaghetti, angel hair, fettuccine, mostaccioli, or bow tie) and add a sauce such as original ($5.99), red clam ($7.49), Alfredo ($8.49), or beer cheese ($8.49). You can also opt to pick a combination of two or three sauces ($8.49), or just go with a large platter of them all ($9.49). For especially hungry folks and burly baritone opera singers, add a pasta topper like a meatball ($1.29), Italian sausage ($1.69), or fried clams ($2.49).
If opting for all-you-probably-should-eat pasta instead of all-you-can-eat pasta, the Spaghetti Works menu also offers appetizers such as bruschetta ($5.49) and toasted beef ravioli ($5.99), meatball and chicken parmesan sandwiches (both $7.99), and specialty plates such as the 19-layer lasagna ($10.99) or Florentine stuffed shells ($9.49). Wash it all down with a glass of wine or a cold brewski from the full-service bar, or one of more than 20 Italian soda flavors—including such unCoke-like flavors as strawberry kiwi, chocolate-cherry kisses, and banana-cherry creme.
Offering massive mounds of tasty Italian fare in a charming setting, Spaghetti Works provides a fork-twirling trek to a potentially never-ending pasta paradise. If you bring along five friends or more, you can combine two Groupons and find out just how much spaghetti a table can hold before it falls through the earth's surface.

There's a dish to satisfy every taste at Spaghetti Works, where diners can customize meals to their hearts’ and mouths’ content. Plates of fettuccini or whole-wheat mostaccioli can be enjoyed with sweet italian sausage, beer-cheese sauce, and a wide variety of other toppings.
