About Spartan Handgun
At Spartan, Instructor Mike Rodriguez, an active duty Police Officer with over 32 years of experience, will teach students the Texas DPS License to Carry Course. Handgun 101, students will be taught the NRA method of basic handgun shooting, with live fire on the range. Topics include laws that relate to weapons and the use of force, non-violent dispute resolution, proper storage practices for handguns, handgun use and safety, and more. Shooting proficiency will be conducted at an indoor range, eye/ear protection will be provided, and a 25-question Texas DPS License to Carry written exam will be conducted.
