During each cruise aboard the Spirit of Baltimore, guests take in views of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor from an expansive open-air deck before being escorted to a white-clothed table in the enclosed ship’s dining room. Surrounded by windows for continually unobstructed views, guests dive into plates of upscale cuisine such as oven-roasted salmon and tilapia, twice-cooked beef short ribs, and baked ziti with creamed spinach sauce. Later, an interactive DJ spins Top 40 hits and encourages guests to take to the dance floor. Boarding varies by day; see the cruise page for exact times.
The Spirit of Baltimore
There is no better way to see Baltimore’s historic waterfront than aboard the majestic Spirit of Baltimore. The sightseeing cruise ship sweeps passengers from the Inner Harbor to the Patapsco River aboard three indoor, climate controlled decks that hold up to 400 people. However, in addition to taking passengers past city landmarks such as the world-famous Fort McHenry (said to be the birthplace of America’s national anthem), the ship contains some picturesque sites of its own; amenities include sleek full-service bars, dance floors with live DJs, and even a rooftop deck. Thanks to panoramic windows, guests can retire to the ship’s lounge while still taking in the postcard-worthy views.
