About Studio 665
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Founded by former World 10-Dance Semifinalists Mark and Dawna Nocera, Studio 665 has been teaching Boston to dance for over 30 years! Mark and Dawna are World Class judges with the World Dance Council. Our staff is composed of all full-time instructors with elite coaches brought in from around the world. We offer instruction for all levels, beginner to professional as well as professional testing for examinations with DVIDA. Our wedding lesson routines, a specialty of ours, are tailor-made to each couple to be as simple or sophisticated as desired.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Upon retiring from professional competition in 1994, Mark and Dawna completely refocused their energies on helping their students achieve the same level of success that they themselves achieved.
What do you love most about your job?
Watching our students develop their skills as dancers while finding a passion for movement is one of greatest pleasures of this profession.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
One of our couples was out social dancing after only a few short months of lessons, and they were asked if they were dance teachers! No better compliment than that!
