About Surepoint Solutions Phlebotomy Academy (SSPA)
This program's secret lies in its seamless integration of adaptable online learning with sophisticated real-world laboratory training. It is a hybrid course that combines instructor-led, hands-on lab teaching at our main campus with self-paced online lectures. The course lasts for 5 weeks, with the student completing the online section first. Following a passing grade on the final, the student would then proceed to instructor-led, hands-on lab instruction. This aids students in acquiring both the theoretical information and practical skills necessary for success.
They can go at their own pace for three weeks while completing the online lectures, after which they must pass the final online exam. Afterwards, they will spend two days practicing blood draws and becoming familiar with the tools used by phlebotomists.
The online section includes assignments, quizzes, video lectures, and text lectures to assist students in becoming prepared for the lab and the chance to land a job with one of our national partners or one they decide to apply for on their own. The laboratory section will be used to familiarize students with the tools they will be using, the correct methods, and hands-on practice taking blood on one another.
REFRESHER COURSE ONLY: Since some registrants have already received some phlebotomy instruction elsewhere, refresher courses begin on the days of hands-on training and skip the lecture section.
