Some of the first words visible on Sushiko's menu seem out of place, including "rice crispy treat" and "pizza". These seemingly misplaced dishes, however, are a perfect introduction to Sushiko's charmingly creative style—the rice crispy treat is pan-fried sushi rice topped with spicy tuna and sweet sauce, and the Japanese pizza is a house specialty that finds pie-shaped slices of deep-fried rice and bell pepper baked in a marinara-style sauce.

Of course, sushi is the main draw. Original creations include the Sushiko roll, triangular cuts of deep-fried tuna, spicy salmon, and tomatoes, as well as the Basketball roll, deep-fried California roll topped with orange spheres of spicy tuna. International influences are visible here and there, as with seared Cajun tuna carpaccio with daikon and a Japanese-style ceviche with salmon, yellowtail, and albacore. Guests can pair their meals with spirits from the Asian drink list, which includes everything from Sapporo to bottles of apple sake.
