At Tango Chicago, seasoned instructor Al Gates uses his 19 years of experience to teach the fundamentals of tango. Trained by world-famous Argentinean masters, Al helps students of all skill levels learn by simplifying complicated figures and teaching them in a fun and easily understood manner. Most of what he has to say, whether it's explaining how a female or male tango dancer traditionally moves, can be heard during the studio's group dance lessons. To reinforce his words, he hosts late-night dance sessions throughout the week that allow dancers to practice their new moves on the dance floor.
