About Tankhouse Float & Massage

As its name implies, Tankhouse Float & Massage offers a pair of wellness options: flotation therapy and massage. During float sessions, clients lie in Tankhouse's Float Pod flotation tank, filled with water infused with Epsom salts and heated to the body's natural temperature. The sessions work to lull guests into a deeply meditative state, which can help improve sleep, circulation, and immune function. Tankhouse's owner, Alan Goltl, describes the experience in an interview with the Utne Reader. In addition to flotation therapy, Goltl draws on his training from Crestone Healing Arts Center to administer soothing bodywork offerings, including Swedish and deep tissue, as well as reflexology and acupressure.
