About Taste of Polonia

The Taste of Polonia Festival, situated in the heart of the Jefferson Park neighborhood and one block from CTA and Metra stops, is one of the largest Polish Fests in the country. The festival takes place over the Labor Day weekend, welcoming crowds to celebrate Polish culture with traditional Polish food and drinks, casino, art exhibits, merchants, movies, cultural performances and loads of live music. Across four stages festival goers can enjoy over 60 bands such as Tributosaurus Becomes R.E.M, Led Zeppelin 2, Think Floyd, Hairbangers Ball, Gentlemen of Leisure, Arra, Big Suit, Mucca Pazza, Ode, School of Rock among many others. The 4-day festival also hosts kid-friendly events, such as face painting, balloons, karate, judo, soccer and dance shows, kids disco, carnival games, and a bounce house village. Free parking is available at the Irish American Center, with just a five-minute shuttle to the Copernicus Center.
