About Taylors Falls Canoe & Kayak Rental

There's plenty to look at when paddling a canoe along St. Croix River. Every year, thousands of birds migrate up and down its shores. A glance to the skies or nearby trees may even reveal a bald eagle. The forests of hard maple, oak, and pine are also home to other animals—squirrels, white-tailed deer—who just might make an appearance as kayakers and canoers float by or stop along the banks.

This area looks largely the same as it did when Taylors Falls Canoe & Kayak Rental rented its first canoes back in 1910. Today, the company continues the tradition by facilitating one-way trips down the river, complete with free shuttle service and a guarantee that the river won't start flowing backwards mid-trip.
