Before chasing strikes across lustrous lanes, ball-tossing duos slip their paws into a pair of rental shoes to ensure smooth sphere lobbing and scuffless victory dances. For one riveting hour, players can sling three-holed boulders at poker-faced pins while omniscient lanes tally points and broadcast scores on impartial computer screens to thwart abacus tampering.
