Nestled amid rolling forested hills, Tenkiller State Park's cabins overlook the clear waters of Tenkiller Ferry Lake and its two islands. The cabins and cottages act as disembarking points to the state park's wilderness, where scuba divers plumb the depths of the lake, boaters tow both wakeboarders and fishing lines, and hikers take in panoramic views from lakeside bluffs. An onsite naturalist welcomes questions and leads tours for guests, and outdoor grills and playgrounds play host to barbecues and parties. Onsite amenities abound as well, including an outdoor pool. Guests looking to grab a bite can head to nearby restaurants, including Big Daddy's, which is open on weekends, and The Wolf, open Tuesday–Sunday. Should visitors prefer to eschew modern conveniences, campsites afford space for fires and large tents.
