The phrase "dinner theatre" takes on a new meaning at Tenroku Sushi. A conveyer belt weaves through the eatery's casual dining space, and atop its moving surface marches a parade made of sushi, Japanese entrees, and a single salt shaker hoping not to be noticed. Chefs keep the belt stocked with fresh items, while diners simply watch as each plate goes by, until finally something catches their hungry eyes and they snatch it onto the table. The vast, mobile selection spans many types of sushi, including a walnut prawn roll and a spicy salmon temaki, a hand roll with a large cone-shaped piece of nori. Complementing the raw selection, chefs cook entrees such as teriyaki done three ways: beef, chicken, or salmon. Ice green tea and several sake choices complete the sushi experience.
