The three friends who established Texas Meltz have all lived in Texas at some point in their lives. One day—not in Texas—they met at a sandwich shop, and they were stunned when their orders arrived: the sandwiches were small, dry, and tasteless.

So the trio decided to create its own sandwich shop and use the Lone Star State as inspiration. At Texas Meltz, the "Everything is bigger in Texas" slogan comes to fruition in the form of enormous hot and cold sandwiches stacked with meats, cheeses, and fresh veggies. And, just so nobody forgets what state serves as the company's inspiration, every succulent creation is named after a city in Texas.
