• NAUI Scuba Certification needs 2-3 phases to complete.
• Prior to starting the in-water sessions, online learning must be completed.
• Earning certification requires that all sessions and skills are completed.
• Classes are group lessons.
• Wide variety of classes are available to meet scheduling needs.
• Each in-water session runs approximately 4-6 hours.

• 2 confined water training sessions
• 2 open water training sessions with 4 open water dives
• Rental gear (BCD, regulator, tanks, and weights)

What’s included in open water plus nitrox:

• 2 confined water training sessions
• 2 open water training sessions with 4 open water dives
• Rental gear (BCD, regulator, tanks, and weights)
• After completion of Open Water training students can enroll in Nitrox training
• Nitrox training consists of a classroom session plus coursework

What’s included in open water advanced plus nitrox:

• 2 confined water training sessions
• 2 open water training sessions with 4 open water dives
• Rental gear (BCD, regulator, tanks, and weights)
• After completion of Open Water training, students can enroll in Nitrox training
• Nitrox training consists of a classroom session plus coursework
• After completion of Open Water training, students can enroll in Advanced training
• Advanced training consists of 2 open water training sessions with 6 dives completed

Requirements

• For ages 12 or older.
• Please note that some medical issues need physician clearance or may preclude from diving.
• Each participant has to pass a swim test (200 meters with any stroke untimed, underwater swim, and tread water).
• For all Open Water classes, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and books not included and must be purchased at Texas Scuba Adventures to ensure proper equipment and fit. Valid for M-F classes, not private.
• For all Nitrox classes, books not included and must be purchased at Texas Scuba Adventures to ensure the correct learning materials. Valid for any Nitrox class, not private.
• For all Advanced classes, dive light, smb, compass, slate and books not included and must be purchased at Texas Scuba Adventures to ensure proper equipment. Valid for any Advanced class, not private.
