Laura was born with fair Irish skin, and she wanted to be tan, but her family's history of melanoma left her averse to using UV beds. Her preoccupation with bronzed skin sent her to experiment with nearly every kind of UV-free tanning method over the next 10 years, but she was usually less than pleased with the streaky, orange results. She eventually decided that she needed to just open her own spray-tan salon, where she could feel confident about the quality of product being used. She now runs The Bronze Bar, where she hand-picks airbrush formulas that can be infused with everything from scents to anti-aging formulas.
