Available introductory classes include wheel throwing and hand building, which imparts on students a variety of clay-shaping techniques, such as extrusion, slabbing, coiling, pinching, and roundhouse kicking. Pupils return to glaze stoneware with color coatings before the instructor fires pieces in an electric kiln.
