About The CrossFit Squad
In their 6,000-square-foot gym, the certified coaches at The CrossFit Squad lead classes through a series of daily workouts designed to work all muscle groups in a single session. They change up the routine each day to prevent the boredom of repetition, and since the CrossFit system employs functional movements in exercises, they prepare participants for all physical activities—from sports to work to daily chores. To accommodate their members, the gym is equipped with showers, as well as an unsupervised kids’ room for children five and up.
Co-owner Rob LaBar is a believer and avid practicer of CrossFit, having ranked in the top 10 of international worldwide in the CrossFit Games Masters' 40-plus age division.
