The Dancing Horses Theatre presents a spectacular show of incredible feats performed by magnificent equines and their talented trainers. The current act, “The Power of a Dream,” is a 90-minute performance that brings nostalgia back in style with an artistic, creative nod to potent, non-Jell-O-related childhood memories. Various horse breeds display their particular dance fortes, such as the foxtrot, jitterbug, and electric boogaloo. Steeds and hominids alike are adorned in lavish, handmade costumes, presenting a one-of-a-kind cavalcade of exquisite grace. These glitzy beauties pose for photos at the show's end. The 30-minute post-show backstage tour includes a short riding and training demonstration, a behind-the-scenes stable tour, and a chance to ask your favorite horse for an autograph.

Though the show is a must-see for horse lovers of all ages, The Dancing Horses Theatre also has something for bird buffs and llama fanatics. Each performance features a separate exotic bird show, in which parrots display skills beyond asking for crackers. Animal Gardens also features a friendly petting zoo with camels, llamas, potbellied pigs, and marmocoons.

Groupon tickets may not be upgraded to a meal performance, but a full concession stand is available at every show. It is recommended to arrive at 12 p.m. for 1 p.m. shows and 3:45 p.m. for 6 p.m. shows to see full exotic bird show.

About The Dancing Horses Theatre

Recurring dreams can often be brief and haunting. But 6 miles west of Lake Geneva at a large theater in the center of 40 acres of wooded trails, Dana Montana happily watches her lifelong dream unfold. Here, she takes center stage to introduce up to 300 guests to her beloved purebred Arabian horses that majestically trot out to join her. They entertain audiences alongside expert acrobatic performers and trainers, whose resumés include stints with the Ringling Bros. Circus, Walt Disney World, and Arabian Nights.

Garbed in sparkling bridles and feather-plumed headdresses, the magnificent steeds wow the crowd with dazzling footwork and quotes from Shakespeare’s lesser-known horse plays.
