About The Desert Sun
The Desert Sun is a little younger than our solar system's sun, but it's by no means a new newspaper. It's been illuminating local news for the Coachella Valley area for almost a century. Back at its inception, in 1927, it had a staff of just one man: Carl Barkow. Today, it's grown substantially, with reporters covering an eclectic mix of news, business, and culture on a daily basis. They also craft culture-related pieces for the paper's supplemental magazine, Desert Magazine.

The paper is great. Full of local news and things to do, plus great ads for discounts in the area! It arrives on time. I would have it every day if there was a group on deal! Thanks for the great little paper and the bargain price!
