If you thought corn was already as scary as it could get, you were wrong...corn wrong. Twist and weave through a creepy corn maze with today’s Groupon: $8 gets you admission to Fritzler Corn Maize’s haunted Scream Acres (a $16 value).

Round up your family, someone else’s family, or a group of friends for extra protection, and brace yourself to investigate what’s skulking behind the stalks. As you navigate down the snaky path, watch out for terrifying surprise interruptions from ghouls, goblins, ghosts, and other nocturnal oddities. The maze is full of special effects, sound technology, and mechanical displays designed to scare you and your corn-maze cornpanions senseless.

Fritzler’s Corn Maize is located a quick seven miles south of Greeley, Colorado. The haunting begins after dark starting on September 25. For the remainder of the month, the maze is open Fridays, 5 p.m.–10 p.m.; Saturdays, 11 a.m.–10 p.m.; and Sundays, noon–6 p.m. In October Scream Acres expands its hours to include Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5 p.m.–10 p.m.
