About The Gathering Point Community Acupuncture
At The Gathering Point Community Acupuncture, state-licensed acupuncturist Michele Smith draws upon a passion for healing as well as a Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat her clients. Believing that the root of any ailment is as—if not more–important than its symptoms, Michele uses acupuncture to help clients overcome ailments as diverse as joint pain, headaches, and depression. Michele is also a certified herbologist and practitioner of reflexology and tuina, and she uses all of these methods to help her clients achieve balance and whole-body health. The Gathering Point is able to offer a sliding scale fee for its clients because of its community setting. This means that treatments take place in one big room with a row of comfortable beds, though consultations occur in private rooms so clients can feel comfortable discussing their issues.
