About The Hassbeat Drum Studio

The Hassbeat Drum Studio has been active for 30 years.

Beginning on Long Island, then Boston, New York City, and for the last 10 years, Los Angeles. 

Due to my touring schedule the last 20 years, I have taught mostly professional drummers, but now that I'm traveling less and I have a child of my own, I'm beginning to teach younger students again, as I did in back on Long Island. The Hassbeat Drum Studio is available to students of all ages and levels. I make the lessons fun without excluding pertinent information needed to become a proficient drummer. 

The Hassbeat Drum Studio is one of few drum schools to offer an instructor with 30 years of experience with legendary Grammy winning artists such as Mavis Staples, Art Garfunkel, Cher, The Manhattan Transfer, John Scofield, Christian McBride and many more.
