The historical presence was impressive. We were amazed how much of what we saw was actually from the family and era of the Jacksons. Volunteers were knowledgeable and everywhere. Service staff were patient and extremely helpful. Happened to be a gorgeous day as well - we really were pleased.

The Hermitage was very interesting. I visited in the fall and it was a perfect sweater day. I visited the museum and walked 6-7 to the mansion and garden. There is a film, self guided tours you can hear on your phone and docents for the mansion. I purchased the general admission ticket and upgraded to the mansion tour for $9.99. I didn’t take the wagon tour. There is free parking out front and a gift shop.
