  • Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum combines innovative technology with the wooded landscapes of the Arboretum. The interactive light experience engages senses through vivid projections, color displays, and trees that respond to touch and sound. Visitors walk along a mile-long, paved walking trail that winds around the Arboretum's Meadow Lake and along its Conifer Walk, interacting with surrounding trees along the way. Using LED lighting technology, visitors can hug or sing to a tree to watch  it change color, see their own face projected on a grove of trees.
