During the youth basketball camps, instructors from the National Basketball Academy, members of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and special guest speakers spend five days instilling aspiring hoopsters with on-court insight and game-ready techniques. Campers ages 7–16 split off according to age, skill level, and gender before practicing real Cleveland Cavaliers drills that include ball handling, shooting, and acting out slow-motion replays. Throughout the week, participants test newly acquired offensive and defensive footwork in daily 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 scrimmages. Campers depart at weeks’ end toting a complementary T-shirt, basketball, headband, and a ticket to a regular-season Cavaliers home game.
