Many of the doctors and practitioners at The Nutritional Healing Center of Ann Arbor struggled with their own physical ailments before learning in the course of their studies how nutritional and lifestyle changes could improve their health. At the center, which was featured in Natural Awakenings in 2011, they combine their areas of expertise under one roof to diagnose the nutritional problems underlying patients’ pains or illnesses, then treat these problems through nutritional counseling, lifestyle changes, and whole-food supplements. The team teaches the importance of proper nutrition while offering coaching services on beneficial diets, gluten avoidance, and the perils of processed foods.
