Comedy, romance and more are on the menu, as this world-premiere play serves up a quintet of vignettes about a favorite dining spot and its patrons. In Scenes From A Chinese Restaurant, Xu Shin's establishment has been a neighborhood fixture since 1955, and this collection of stories focuses on several of its customers, including an older couple who work the early-bird special to their advantage, and a couple of kids who refuse to look up from their screens. At the center of the stir is Suzette, the philosophical server with the patience of a saint, who has her own secret history. Written by Tom Andrew and presented by The Playgroup LLC, the show's set to take the stage at Sugar Sand Park's Willow Theatre in Boca.
