The Range
- 10 pistol ranges with distances of 50–300 yards
- Six rifle ranges with distances of 100–1600 yards
- 12 station, 100-target sporting clay course (seasonal, open beginning in May)
- 25 target 5-stand, six trap machines
- 20 target I.B.O.-style 3D archery
- Rifle calibers of .50 BMG require Rockcastle membership
- Steel core ammunition is never allowed on steel targets
The Classes
Instructors offer courses on a variety of subjects, including NRA Certified Firearms Training, advanced handgun and carbine classes, long range marksmanship courses, and basic survival courses.

Rockcastle Shooting Center sits on 2,000 acres of Kentucky woodlands and features nearly 20 different rifle and pistol ranges, a 15-station sporting clays course, and more. The range is host to more than 50 shooting competitions per year in disciplines such as precision rifle, pistol, and sporting clays. It also offers a variety of NRA-certified classes and training courses.
