About The ScareFest

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? The ScareFest is the biggest horror and paranormal convention in the USA where you will be able to experience three days of the strange, weird, and macabre open September 14–16, 2018. Come to meet over 60 celebrities, artists, entertainers, and speakers from the horror and paranormal genres plus over 200 speciality vendors and merchants.

What is the experience customers can expect? During your three-day kid-friendly adventure, you will be able to attend many panels with over 60 celebrities and speakers at ScareFest. Spend hours shopping through the huge 82,000 sq ft dealer room where over 200 vendors will be selling unique wares. Kids 12 and under are free all weekend; plus, Sunday is kids day, so bring the whole family.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? The ScareFest started in 2008 to bring together celebrities in the horror and pop culture genre together with experts and celebs in the paranormal field to celebrate the fandom and fun that these genres have to offer. The goal is to bring an affordable and accessible family experience of the best in horror and fantasy arts to fans of all ages. Additionally, paranormal, psychic, and holistic guests and merchants create an atmosphere that is a refreshing break from the norm. The fantasy and fun are appropriate for all ages and as ScareFest began to bring families together for a weekend getaway. Parties and kids day were added soon after the launch of this show, to satisfy every member of the family for a truly fun-filled weekend with something for everyone. This year, the ScareFest celebrates its 11th year of Family fun.

What do you love most about your job? ScareFest owners, Brandon and Nicole Griffith, along with Operations Director, Layla Cook, say their favourite aspect of the event is providing the biggest party at the lowest price. They love to provide an intimate experience with fans and celebrities. They're adding more entertainment to create a family-friendly atmosphere.
