About Theater Of The Sea

Bottlenose dolphins, California sea lions, and tropical fish frolic in lagoons surrounded by lush botanical gardens. It sounds like a scene from a Lisa Frank sticker, but it's also a daily reality at Theater of the Sea, an experiential twist on the classic aquarium. Below, check out some highlights of the establishment, where they pioneered animal interaction programs such as dolphin, sea lion & shark swims.

The eco-friendly mission: In addition to encouraging human connection with marine life and awareness of conservation issues, Theater of the Sea provides a home for resident animals, many of whom are recovering from injuries or unable to thrive in the wild.

The interactive fun: Guests can swim and play with dolphins, sea lions, and even sharks. Better yet, the dolphins work together with guests to paint a masterpiece while donning their waterproof berets.

The continuous shows: There's one everywhere you turn, whether it's an educational presentation on sea lions, or a dolphin showcasing its jumps and vocal talents.

The animal exhibits: Visitors meet Dolphins, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles and crocodiles in natural salt water lagoon environment. The park is also home to a variety of parrots and birds of prey.

The private beach: Covered in white sand and studded with lounge chairs, it's equally perfect for sunbathing or snorkeling with the tropical fish.
