Video games are like life: a bewildering maze filled with challenges, where the only way to get ahead is to have your pet dinosaur eat the boss. Take a break from reality with today's Groupon to Tilt Studio. Choose between the following options:

  • For $10, you get a two-hour unlimited play card (up to a $20 value).
  • For $20, you get a four-hour unlimited play card (up to a $40 value).

Tilt Studio's interior swirls with an orchestra of chirping arcade games and kaleidoscopic flashing colors that have entertained children and adults for nearly 40 years. Dexterous fingers scamper across the controls of more than 200 new and classic arcade games, which present a stunning electronic spectacle like Robocop on Ice. Punish snooty bosses with high-kicking moves in white-knuckle Tekken games in the arcade's 25,000-square-foot hub of adrenaline. Groups of gamers jovially encourage dust consumption in the breakneck Indy 500 race simulators, which emulate the experience of racing without the stickiness caused by sprays of victory champagne.

Though Tilt Studio offers all-day play for $10–$12 on Tuesdays, this Groupon represents the best value throughout the rest of the week.

About Tilt Studio

Tilt Studio's tenure as a family fun center dates back to 1972, a time when the menacing Pac-Man ghosts were still very much alive. Today, the 27,000 square-foot facility greets gamers with scores of arcade and ticket-redemption games plus spacious private-event rooms for corporate gatherings and birthday parties. Visitors receive a game card that works like a debit card, replacing cumbersome quarters that could otherwise be used to enter speed-drying competitions at the laundromat. In the arcade, up to four players can experience high-octane Formula One action, careening down a simulated Indy Motor Speedway, or land strikes on four lanes of virtual bowling, with backdrops depicting Rome, Japan, and Yosemite National Park.
