About Top Tomato Pizza Cafe

Top Tomato might be billed as a pizza café, but its menu includes much more than that. Meals might start with hummus spread on homemade panino bread, or zucchini sticks dipped into fresh marinara sauce. From there, guests can choose to have something casual, like a Sicilian hoagie with pepperoni and capicola, or a bacon cheeseburger on a kaiser roll. But there are more upscale dishes as well: baked tilapia is paired with veggies sautéed in white wine, and a scoop of potatoes take their rightful place beside a 7-ounce filet mignon.

Of course, pizza is Top Tomato's signature dish, and to prove it, they've got 37 specialty pies with internationally inspired topping combinations. The ground beef-based Mexican pizza finds color from tomatoes and banana peppers, and the Florentine chicken pizza has spinach and mushrooms. A few American-style varieties include the jambalaya, a spicy blend of hot sauce, chicken, sausage, and shrimp, and the Cowboy steak, a mixture of bacon, barbecue sauce, and two kinds of cheese that's tossed onto tables by a lasso.
