Snow has two positive uses: it can be used to build snow-jurors when neighbors don't show up to serve in a nonbinding apartment court, and you can ski on it. Practice closing arguments on the slopes with today's Groupon at Trollhaugen in Dresser, Wisconsin. Choose between two options:
- For $25, you get a one-day lift ticket (up to a $41 value).
- For $30, you get a one-day lift ticket, introductory ski lesson, and equipment rental (up to a $67 value).
A lift ticket gives slope stars access to Trollhaugen's 22 ski trails, from Julebakken's rolling slopes and wide terrain to the narrow, tree-lined chutes and lurking ice Vikings of Galende's black-diamond gauntlet. Mountainside novices can opt for pre-ski training with one of Trollhaugen's beginner ski lessons. After strapping on the provided equipment, beginners learn bunny-hill basics before cashing in their lift voucher, which grants access to runs such as the elementary Bjorkedahl, a slow tour around the resort's western edge.
Lessons for skiers ages 4-12 are held from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, as well as from 1:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Lessons for skiers ages 13 and up are held at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Trollhaugen offers discounted rates and packages during restricted times and on certain days, but this Groupon can be used any day at all times, and still offers the most flexible deal available. Monday special pricing direct from Trollhaugen may be a better value; plan ahead to make sure you're using your Groupon at the most opportune time.
