Led by owner J.W. McNeal, who has more than 25 years of car-care experience, the ASE–certified technicians at Tuffy Auto Service Center of Jonesville revamp vehicles during maintenance and repair services. The techs showcase their ardor for autos by touting membership to the Automotive Service Association and eagerly peeking under hoods to swap oil filters, replace batteries, and diagnose engines with gingivitis. Stationed in the facility's three garage bays, they wave all vehicle makes and models in for service on a slew of parts, including mufflers, brakes, and tires.

While their cars are with the mechanics, auto owners can nab complimentary snacks, coffee, and cold drinks in a waiting area that boasts black leather chairs, WiFi, a kids' play table, and glass display cases lined with model cars that thwart dust with miniature wiper blades. The community-oriented shop strives to be a neighborhood garage and has donated to the Gainesville Fisher House Foundation in an effort to help military families.
