About Twin Ponds
Twin Ponds East—one of the Twin Ponds family rec center's two complexes—lies on the same location of an old farm and its ponds, where Mr. Patton and his brothers used to play ice hockey. Today, its two indoor ice rinks keep games going year-round, even when most hockey players migrate to Antarctica for the summer.
Twin Ponds West adds even more places to skate, including an NHL standard size rink, though hockey isn't the only thing on visitors' agendas. The rinks welcome figure skaters as well as the general public, who can also take classes to help them navigate the ice with ease. Additionally, Twin Ponds West provides space for other sports, including baseball, lacrosse, field hockey, and soccer on an indoor turf field.
