In the late 1800s, thousands of Texans struck it rich when they tapped into veins of thick, dark, tangy barbecue sauce (as chronicled in the Oscar-winning film There Will Be Sauce). Today's Groupon gives you the chance to taste this natural bounty while it's still hot from the earth: for $10, you get $20 worth of barbecue, burgers, and more at Two Brothers BBQ. This Groupon is good at any of the five Two Brothers locations in the Wichita area. Prices vary slightly by location.
Family owned and operated, Two Brothers BBQ serves up a bounty of barbecue favorites on its menu, with high-quality ingredients and careful cooking uniting to wield savory and saucy sustenance. Relish the wrangling of rebellious wisps of hickory smoke with sliced meats such as beef brisket, turkey, or pulled pork ($6.29 for a half pound, $11.49 for a pound), or slam into a full slab of ribs ($18.99), cooked to perfection over the still-warm coals of found meteorites. For boosters of the bun, Two Brothers' West Wichita and El Dorado locations now offer The Burger Grill, with premium grilled burgers and decalescent dogs filling feast-holds and arriving via optional carhop service. Send your taste buds on a delicious trip back in time to the 1984 of the future with a Big Brother cheeseburger ($5.69), or go for the tubular tastes of the chili dog ($4.99), a quarter-pound kosher dog topped with smoked-brisket chili, onions, mustard, and cheddar. Side dishes (from $1.39 to $1.49/individual, up to $7.49–$7.99/quart) include french fries, corn cobettes, green beans, and scalloped potatoes.
Two Brothers delights in creating a warm, family-friendly atmosphere— catch the big game on one of the restaurant's TVs, or celebrate your best friend's origin story over a fishbowl of ice-cold draft beer. A fresh-baked cobbler ($2.39) and giant chocolate-chip cookies ($2.19) offer an enticing epilogue to the slow-cooked saga.
Reviews
Seven Yelpers give the Two Brothers BBQ location on Central Avenue a 3.5-star average.
- I tried the extra moist brisket which was recommended by our server, Abby, and it was outstanding. I've never had such a moist piece of brisket, and the en pieces [sic] has a great jerky quality to them. The pulled pork was also moist and great. Sauces are served on the side, so you can easily pick the amount and flavor from the four sauces available on the table. – Nick B.
- …but the smoked turkey...delish! I went back for a second time. Actually we ordered it in twice for our business lunch! – Heather J.
