The owner, Marc, is very personable and thoroughly explained the process and answered all of my questions. On the day of the service, though, the workers were three hours late... when they finally arrived, the worker in charge left right away because he had to go to the home improvement store for a piece of equipment. He was gone for three hours. The work was performed okay, but I am very disappointed in the delays. Also I was very disappointed that I was not contacted following the service to see if I was satisfied.

About Ultimate Radiant Barrier

The owner of Ultimate Radiant Barrier previously worked in the heating and air-conditioning business for 30 years. In that time, he saw utility bills continue to rise, and homeowners were unable to do anything to combat it. So, he decided to turn to science to solve the problem, concentrating on the area of the house that transfers the most temperature: the attic. He started making that space more energy efficient by lining it with sun-reflecting foil, which prevents the outside heat from creeping indoors, significantly reducing the cost of air conditioning during stifling Houston summers or slightly cooler, but still stifling Houston winters.

Friendly service. Wouldn't honor the Groupon price. Had to pay $250 ontop of the $100 groupon deal.

Did not get radiant barrier, only insulation which went very well.

In my opinion it is simply bait and switch. The size of the Groupon offer will not even begin to do a complete job in any size house. It just allows the salesman to up-sell to a bigger job.
