About University of San Diego Torero Baseball Camps
The University of San Diego Toreros open up Fowler Park for young baseball players to develop their skills (whether it be batting or fielding) during summertime day camps.
- The facilities: Kids aged 5–12 years learn and practice fundamentals at Fowler Park, home field to the Toreros since 2013.
- The coaches: The Toreros' own coaching staff, including head coach Rich Hill—who has built the Toreros into one of the most successful Division I baseball programs on the West Coast—guide players in an eight to one camper to coach ratio.
- The camp: Divided by age and skill, campers learn hitting, fielding, base-running, and throwing fundamentals through drills, practicing techniques, real-game situations, and video evaluation. Then, they put their new skills to use during daily games.
