An abandoned church—deemed a public nuisance to Dayton—converted into one of Ohio's biggest rock climbing gyms. Working with the engineer who created the climbing wall industry standards, transformed the neighborhood eye-sore into Urban Krag, a rock climbing shrine with 10,000 square feet of vertical climbing terrain and walls up to 56 feet tall. With that amount of space, created routes that mimic real world climbing scenarios but that also allow climbers to test themselves in the safety of a gym. Today, all the hard work shines through in open climb sessions and classes that range from from simple belaying to sling top rope climbing, rappelling, and sport climbing.
