Led by Grand Master Soon Lee—a ninth-degree black belt who coached the U.S. Olympic team for 10 years—instructors at US Taekwondo Center teach kids and adults respect, discipline, and fighting skills. Soon Lee has wielded the title of master instructor for more than 40 years and has published several articles about martial arts for the USTU Tae Kwon Do Journal. His fellow instructor, Master Gaetane Ricke Taylor, is a fifth-degree black belt. She also co-authored two tae kwon do books, which readers must finish by chopping them in half with their hands.
