Verrill Stables is a state of the art equine facility that prides itself on its family atmosphere. With a wide open 200X80 indoor, heated arena, we enjoy teaching lessons to riders all year long. With lesson horses on site for all skill levels we welcome everyone from beginners to experts.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Since her first pony ride as a 6 year old, Jess had always dreamed of having her own equine business. Verrill Stables is her dream, made a reality.

What do you love most about your job?

There are 2 things that make what we do incredible rewarding. The first is the horses. Since the first day we opened our doors, this business has been about giving our horses and incredible home. The second is the people. There is nothing more enjoyable than watching a rider learn and conquer the challenges that come with riding horses. It's an amazing sight to watch unfold.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

For many, riding horses has always been a dream. When they walk through our front door, that dream is something we have to live up to. And for kids, it's even more extreme. Many of our parents will say that the horses did more for their kids than anything else ever could. For us, it's less about the reaction in the moment and more the lasting impact that horses make on our riders lives.
