Physics meets fun at Vertical Velocity Trampoline Park—jumping on a trampoline is a perfect illustration of Newton's laws of motion and Hooke's law, which states a downward force will stretch the springs and return an upward recoil. But the science lesson is often masked by how fun the act of bouncing really is, with all ages able to enjoy that momentary weightlessness at the peak of a jump. At Vertical Velocity, children bound across the wall-to-wall trampolines during open jump. Adults join in on the fun with fitness classes, glow nights, or toddler time, where parents can assist kids under five. Participants catch their breath with a couple of arcade games and a snack from the concession stand. Lockers and table seating are available, as is facility rental and private party rooms.
